Portfolio of Final Cut editor Gareth Harrison, Leeds, Yorkshire, UK

I have over six years experience as a video editor and have worked on a wide range of productions, including music videos, short films, live events, promos and corporate videos . I primarily use Final Cut Studio, but I also have comprehensive experience with Avid and Premiere. As well as editing I also mix sound using Pro Tools, which I did for the short film Blackout. I also incorporate motion graphics in almost every project I do, using either After FX or Motion.

I am confident in working with multiple video formats, from the ingest stage to the final output. Although I primarily use digital formats such as Digibeta and HD, I have recently used RED footage to edit a music video and worked closely with the RED technician, to ensure speed of turnaround using this format.

In addition to post-production work I am also a website designer, having created a number of websites for clients in html and in Flash. This understanding has helped me within postproduction to work across all digital platforms and provide seamless video content for the web.

I have my own edit suite and I run my business LS19 from my home office. However, I will quite often work within a production company or post-production house. I am hard working and each edit is undertaken with enthusiasm, commitment and attention to detail . I am based in Leeds, but I'm available to work anywhere in the UK or abroad.
